How to play Wildlife Bingo: for 2-6 players ages 3 to adult, elect one player to be the caller, distribute picture boards, and select which bingo pattern you want to play from the patterns below, the caller holds up one card at a time.  If the card's picture is on a player's board, the player puts a chip on the matching board piece, a player wins by being the first to cover the chosen pattern and yells "WAPITI!"

Example of an Informative Card:  The Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is the national bird and the only unique eagle to North America.  It is a very large bird with a seven foot wingspan.  It is called 'bald' because of its white head.  Bald Eagles use the same nest every year and are believed to mate for life.  They eat carrion (dead flesh), birds, fish and small rodents.  They live near bodies of water.

Example of an Informative Card:  The Grizzly Bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) is a subspecies of brown bear.  It has a prominent shoulder hump and long front claws.  They dig dens for winter hibernation.  Grizzly bears are named for their grizzled coats of streaked hairs.  Grizzlies are larger than a black bear, weighing up to 850 pounds.  They will stand up on their hind legs when alarmed and are 6-7 feet tall.
