Wolf 8 enters Yellowstone National Park for the first time.  Hed does not know it, but he is part of a world-famous conservation project, one that will reintroduce wolves to the park to help the ecosystem thrive.  Wolf 8 is small-the runt of his litter-and bullied by his siblings.  He must learn to fend for himself in a strange new landscape.
