How to play National Parks Bingo: for 2-6 players ages 3 to adult, elect one player to be the caller, distribute picture boards, and select which bingo pattern you want to play from the patterns below, the caller holds up one card at a time.  If the card's picture is on a player's board, the player puts a chip on the matching board piece, a player wins by being the first to cover the chosen pattern and yells "DISCOVER!"

Example of an Informative Card: Yellowstone National Park, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, is America's first national park.  Established in 1872, it spans almost 3,500 miles.  Sitting on top of a dormant volcano, the park is filled with geothermal features such as hot springs, mudpots, and geysers.  The most famous geyser, Old Faithful, shoots water an average of 130 feet into the air around 17 times per day.  Breathtaking waterfalls and wildlife such as buffalo, elk, bears and wolves are other features of the park.

Example of an Informative Card: Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado, was established in 1906 by President Theodore Roosevelt to "preserve the works of man".  The park protects nearly 5,000 archaeological sites of Ancestral Puebloan people living in the area over 700 years old.  Nearly 600 cliff dwellings are within the park, as well as mesa top sites.  This national park is home to 1,300 different animal species.
